Jerry had managed the store from 1972-1979. His desire to own the business became reality in 1982. The store sold appliances and televisions. Soon furniture and floor covering departments were added. The business name was changed to Miller’s Appliance, Furniture, TV and Floor Covering. Eventually the TV and Floor Covering departments were replaced with more furniture.
